Minecraft 1.1

Minecraft 1.1 has been released with a new world option(superflat) and there are new items that spawn animals and mobs.
There are new languages such as Portuguese(Portugal) and Pirate speak.
Minecraft 1.1 has finally gotten a new golden apple recipe
which caused the gold ingots to change to gold nuggets.

Bow enchantments are now available with the special ability of infinity ,fire arrows and others.
Wooden gates can now be opened with redstone wireing

Sheeps will now restore their wool after eating grass
Brewing time was changed to 20 seconds and will make a lot difference while brewing.

Despite the bug fixing there still are a lot bugs such as the infinite rail glitch and others.

Notch also made it a lot easier to get apples and an easier golden apple recipe. However the effects of this gold apple have been slightly reduced

Bows were the only combat weapon that didn't have an enchantment but they have been updated

You can now enchant your bows and use special attacks

These are pretty much the updates Minecraft 1.1 had.
